Keepsake Projects

I've had two different keepsake projects thrown into the wedding mix this week.  I thought I would share.....

These are song lyrics that were played at a funeral of a young wife and mother who died of cancer.  I did twelve 8 x 10 copies to be framed and given to the family members upon the anniversary of her passing.  I thought this was a very special idea.

8 x 10 Natural Parchment with Black Italic

This was a letter that a father wrote about his 4 year old son, Ben.  The Grandmother had me Calligraphy it and she will frame it and give it to Ben's parents as a gift.  Also another special idea.

11 x 14 Natural Parchment with Black Italic

Thank you for allowing me to be a part of these special items.  It is an honor.

The Finishing Touch

I love it when my customers send me photos of my work after it has been framed.  I always see my work on a nice piece of parchment before it leaves my house - but the frame and matting always adds that finishing touch!

This turned out great and my customer tells me that it was a hit this Christmas!

"Hey Cami,
Just  thought you might want to see the finished product.  My mom loves it.   Thanks."

On a side note - theknot.com's 2011 Best of Weddings List came out today!  So excited to be on it!  The craziness has begun.  I am already booking October Brides. This is going to be a great year!

The Bridal Show at the World Golf Village last Sunday was amazing!  I spoke with many brides, passed out lots of info and came home hoarse!  I love those shows.

I'm thrilled about this upcoming year and am looking forward to working with all the new brides.  If you know you want me to address your envelopes, contact me asap. Don't wait until your invitations come back from the printer to schedule or you may find that I am not available.  I look forward to hearing from you soon!

Birth Certificates and Poems

Here's a glimpse at the projects I worked on this evening.....

Isn't this cool?  It's a Reproduction of an original turn of the Century Stone Lithograph.  I added the info in Brown script.

This is an 8 x 10 original poem that will be given as a Christmas gift done in black italic.
