Before and After.....

Before

Often my work leaves here like this and unless someone sends me a photo, I have no idea what they do to complete my project.  So thankful they took the time to email me a photo.  I think it turned out great!

After!
Amazing what the photo and frame can do!

This is a 16 x 20 photo mat with an 8 x 10 photo opening.  Great Anniversary Gift!

Tiffany Blue Ink on Metallic Emerald Green

I always love a new challenge!  First of all, I mixed the ink to match her Tiffany Blue liners on the inside envelope.  With dark envelopes like this, I never know how the ink will respond.  Will it soak into the paper and change colors as it dries or will it sit on top and stand out like I want it to?  This did exactly what we wanted it to do!  Very fun colors.

The bride had a special request for the font - all lowercase letters!  She wanted a clean, simply look to them.  The hardest part was just forcing myself to NOT make capitals.  Once I got that in my head - it went well!

Congratulations Sovia and Jon!

Custom Photo Mats and Reception Cards

It's time to catch up on photos of my work the last few days.  It's been crazy around here!

First of all - I received another order for personal vows on a photo mat.  This is going to be an Anniversary gift.  Love it!  This is a 16 x 20 with the opening cut for an 8 x 10 photo.  Wonderful keepsake item.

Brown Script put the finishing touches on this elegant invitation.  Congratulations Alana and Patrick!

Reception Card Assortment.  Need a way to reserve some tables? Communicate something to your guests? Each one is hand written in the charcoal gray color to match their wedding invitations.

Contemporary and Elegant

I am working on these wonderful wedding invitations right now.

Are they not amazing?  The actual pocket invitation is the envelope.  Chelsi gave me one sample put together and then all of the blank pockets.  I mixed my ink to match the slate/charcoal gray and am doing both the guest's address as well as the return address.  They decided to use the inside pocket (where all of the reception, response card info goes) as their inner envelope information.  That way they can still be specific on exactly who is invited to the wedding.

Congratulations to Justin & Chelsi!
Chelsi is a new and talented photographer here in the Jacksonville area.

Teacher Gifts and Guest Books

This is tonight's project.  11 x 14 in Black Italic on natural parchment.  This is a gift for my daughter's teacher this year.  Now to get a frame......

Another one of those small details that I work on for weddings.  I mixed the ink to match their wedding colors and filled in all the information in the front of their Guest Book.

New Ideas!

I was contacted by a groom to put their wedding vows on a photo mat to give to his bride for their first Anniversary.  I just love it when the guys come up with these creative and sentimental ideas.  Anyway - here's what we came up with.  I LOVE it!
