Marriage Proposal

It's always fun when a creative guy calls me to help him with a marriage proposal!  I worked on 5 different letters this week to help him to get ready to pop the question!

Each letter was done on a different color parchment and placed in a parchment envelope.

Each envelope was marked and then sealed with a wax seal

And then there is the 8 x 10 marriage proposal itself to be presented at dinner.
Congratulations Manny & Anna!

A Poem for the Mother of the Bride

I recently shared with you a very popular poem that many of my brides give to their new mother-in-law on their wedding day.  I had a bride re-write it a bit so that the groom could give it to the mother of the bride.  Neat idea!!!
5 x 7 Black italic on natural parchment.

Mother of the Bride Poem

I had a nice break last night but it was back to work this evening.  Fitting in a few more custom pieces around the wedding envelopes.

This is a 5 x 7 in black Italic.
This bride is getting married next week and will present this poem to her mother-in-law.  Nice gift idea!  Congratulations Rob and Salee!!!

Certificates and Family Heirlooms

This week my schedule picked back up after the typical July break.  I've worked on wedding envelopes for the fall but I've also worked on some certificates and a family heirloom.
It's always fun to add that final personal touch to a special certificate.

"Love is the largest of all"

This was one of my neatest projects yet.  It is a little book (3" x 4") that will go inside of a prayer book that has been carried in 13 different family weddings since 1946.

Each bride in this family has carried the book and they wanted to have something with all the names listed.  I was honored to do it. Such a neat family heirloom!!!

More Place Cards

These place cards were purchased at Hobby Lobby. They are ivory and the decoration on them is actually raised.  It's fuzzy and has a soft, velvet look to it.  The brown script is a nice finishing touch.
